Abbie Finn is a drummer from the North-East of England. She was dubbed ‘the one to watch’ in the April 2023 edition of Jazzwise Magazine. Abbie is also the 2023 Hit Like A Girl UK winner in the 18+ category.
Currently based in Durham, her current projects are the Abbie Finn Trio with Harry Keeble on tenor saxophone and Paul Grainger on double bass and the Finntet featuring Graham Hardy, Harry Keeble, Dean Stockdale and Paul Grainger.
Abbie Studied at Leeds College of Music and Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in London.
In 2020, she released her debut album Northern Perspective with the trio, and in 2023 On Pink Lane. Her most recent release was in 2024 with Stotties For Three. All of which received sterling reviews from British jazz blogs and magazines, and radio plays including BBC Radio Newcastle and Jazz FM.
